We’re Headed East!

   We are so blessed to have such wonderful partners who pray for our family! Bob and I would like to express our sincere appreciation to all who have been faithful to us during these difficult times. We are truly humbled by the sacrifices you have made to enable us in our ministries here. We wish we could give each of you a warm hug of thanks, and this summer is our chance to do just that!

   We will be traveling to NJ beginning July 10^th and will be returning to Texas the week of August 9^th. We would LOVE to share our ministry and the ministry of Wycliffe Bible Translators with you and your church groups. We’d love to visit your church’s Sunday school class or small group.  There have been many exciting developments with Wycliffe’s Last Languages Campaign that we know you’d find exciting! It is such a privilege to be a part of bringing God’s word to a world desperate to hear it and we welcome the opportunity to bring a piece of that world to you. Let us share with you the work that God has called us to be a part of – a world that you as our partners are part of as well. The Albers will be at Elmer UM Church on August 1^st.

   In our last newsletter we decided to do something radical and tell you exactly “like it was” and list all of our known upcoming expenses for 2010. We faced a seemingly impossible situation, but God made it possible through the one-time gifts of a few of His faithful children, and we were humbled and awestruck at His provision. We realized when God does it, everything is easy! Our experience has renewed our faith and em-boldened us to be straightforward with you once again.

   During the last 12 months our received gifts averaged $700 less than our needed support. Please pray for the Lord’s guidance as you consider our request for the 10-30 NEW PARTNERS that we’ll need to enable us to continue in the ministries God has called us to. You can easily begin YOUR partnership with us by contacting us using the information provided. We will mail you a prayer card and contribution envelope or come see us at your church on August 1^st.
