4-1-08 UPDATE

What an encouragement to be able to see all that is happening at our church. The new fire alarm system has been installed. Joey and Jay Bucolo along with Ben Laury have been installing our new computer controlled thermostats. At the price of oil we should realize huge savings for years to come.

Frank Locke and Bob Fisher have completely remodeled the parsonage bath and it is gorgeous. The kitchen ceiling has been repaired; new PEX plumbing has been installed from the water meter to the fixtures. The repair of the parsonage porch will be started this summer.

The three Dave’s (Cooke, Zeck and Zeck) have been at the Hangar and have completed the framing (or complete restructuring, foundation to roof). Jason Brown and crew have roughed in the plumbing and Laury Heating has installed the downstairs duct work. The new septic tanks have been installed. Electric, insulation, and drywall will follow very shortly; there is a real chance that the youth center will be open in May or June.

The progress that has been made is due to all of the prayers and the sacrifice of our church family. A little more than $90,000 has been collected towards our goal. In this time of financial insecurity, what we are trying to accomplish is miraculous. I DO KNOW THAT GOD IS SMILING UPON US.

 - Please continue to pray for our church and its many ministries.
